Thomas was born in 1931.

Thomas married Lilian Gittings in 1952 in the Manchester Registration District (Sep Qtr).

He had the following children from his marriage to Lilian Gittings:

- Stephen Kerry	born in 1952 (date suppressed).
- Philip Kerry	born in 1959 (date suppressed).

Details of Thomas's occupation are not known.

Thomas died in 2012.
