Elizabeth Lavender was the daughter of Thomas Lavender and Mary Heath.

Elizabeth was born around 1709.

She was christened in 1709 at Hartlebury, Worcestershire.

It is believed that Elizabeth worked at Whitley Court, probably as a nurse to one of the children.

Elizabeth's will mentions a nephew called Thomas Shaw, son of Herbert Shaw. This implies that one of her sisters married a Herbert Shaw but no record of this has yet been found.
