Sarah Ann Partridge was the daughter of Richard Partridge and Phillis ??????.

Sarah was born in 1810 in Ocker Hill, Tipton, Staffordshire.

She was christened on Sunday 14 October 1810 at St Laurence Church, Darlaston, Staffordshire.

Sarah married Richard Whistance on Saturday 15 July 1837 in St Bartholomew's Church, Wednesbury, Staffordshire.
The witnesses at the marriage were William Booth and Elizabeth Mary Lambert.

She had the following children from her marriage to Richard Whistance:

- Joshua Partridge Whistance	born in 1838 in West Bromwich Registration District, Staffordshire.
- Jesse Whistance	born in 1840 in Wednesbury, Staffordshire.
- Joseph Whistance	born in 1842 in Wednesbury, Staffordshire.

Sarah died when she was about 75 years old, on Sunday 3 May 1885.
