Elizabeth Amy (Cissie) Turnor was the daughter of Benjamin James Turnor and Mary Ann (Polly) Jones.

Cissie was born on Monday 9 July 1900 in Walsall, Staffordshire.

Cissie married Ernest Thomas Wingrove on Saturday 7 June 1924 in St Andrew's Church, Handsworth, Birmingham, Warwickshire.

She had the following children from her marriage to Ernest Thomas Wingrove:

- Philip Ernest Wingrove

born on 17 October 1925 at West Bromwich, Staffordshire.

Cissie died in 2002 in Birmingham.
