Mabel died
on Friday 25 April 1980
in Tenerife.
She was killed in the Tenerife Air Disaster along with her husband, Stanley. The plane crashed into a mountain 5,500 ft. high at 300 mph during a landing approach to Tenerife Airport. All 146 people aboard died.
