Arthur William Mawer was the son of Joseph Mawer and Minnie Kettlewell.

Arthur was born on Friday 28 July 1916 in Longswales Farm, Kirkby Malzeard, Yorkshire.

Arthur married Clara Margaret Watson on Saturday 25 May 1946 in Kirkby Malzeard Methodist Church.

He had the following children from his marriage to Clara Margaret Watson:

- ?????? Mawer	born in 1951 (date suppressed).
- Jennifer Elizabeth Mawer	born in 1953 (date suppressed) in Kirkby Malzeard, Yorkshire.

Arthur was a Farmer.

Arthur died when he was 73 years old, on Wednesday 1 November 1989 in Kirkby Malzeard, Yorkshire.
