Peter Green was the son of Richard Green and Ann Lea.

Peter was born in 1860 in Windle, St Helens, Lancashire.

Peter married Helen Jackson in 1889 in the Bradford Registration District (Sep Qtr).

He had the following children from his marriage to Helen Jackson:

- Joseph Richard Green	born in 1890 at St Helens, Lancashire.
- William Francis Green	born on 4 December 1893 at St Helens, Lancashire.
- Margaret Mary Green	born on 29 July 1895 at St Helens, Lancashire.
- Helen Green	born on 24 April 1899 at St Helens, Lancashire.

Peter was a Stone Mason.

Peter died when he was 51 years old, in 1912 in the Prescot Registration District (Dec Qtr).
