William Walker was the son of Thomas Walker and Mary Greenhough.

William was born around 1836 in Uttoxeter, Staffordshire.

He was christened on Sunday 24 July 1836 at Uttoxeter, Staffordshire.

William married Emma Bullock on Tuesday 22 September 1857 in St Peter's Church, Fenton, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire.

He had the following children from his marriage to Emma Bullock:

- William Henry Walker	born in 1859 in Uttoxeter, Staffordshire.
- Ann Catherine Walker	born in 1861 in Uttoxeter, Staffordshire.
- Arthur Walker	born on 28 April 1866 in Balance Hill, Uttoxeter, Staffordshire.

William was a Plasterer.

William died when he was 36 years old, on Thursday 21 May 1874 in Balance Hill, Uttoxeter, Staffordshire.
