Margery Riley Chew was the daughter of Thomas Riley Chew and Alice Thornber.

Margery was born on Monday 16 May 1864 in Poultry House, Horton in Gisburn, Yorkshire.

She was christened on Sunday 20 November 1864 at Tewit Hall, near Gisburn, Yorkshire.

Margery died on Tuesday 17 January 1865 in Pewet Hall, Paythorne, Gisburn, Yorkshire.   The cause of her death was Measles for 2 days and Pneumonia for 1 day.   Thomas Riley Chew (her father) was the informant of her death.

She was 7 months old when she died.

She was buried on Friday 20 January 1865 in St Marys Church, Gisburn, Yorkshire.
