Florence Annie (Flo) Lavender was the daughter of Thomas James Lavender and Emma Elizabeth Spittle Stevens.

Flo was born on Sunday 17 March 1878 in Wednesbury, Staffordshire.

Flo married Edward Harold Percy Adams on Wednesday 11 September 1901 in Wesleyan Chapel, Constitution Hill, Birmingham.

She had the following children from her marriage to Edward Harold Percy Adams:

- Harold Edward Adams	born on 7 June 1902.
- Hilda Mary (Paddy) Adams	born on 16 April 1911.
- Dennis Adams	born on 2 June 1916.

Flo died when she was 69 years old, on Saturday 3 May 1947.
