Charles married Ada Jane Partridge on Sunday 18 October 1896 in St James Church, Wednesbury, Staffordshire.
The witnesses at the marriage were David Partridge and Sarah Jane Latham.
Charles was 29 years old and Ada was 24 years old when they married.

He had the following children from his marriage to Ada Jane Partridge:
