Alice Zillah Griffin was the daughter of William Griffin and Alice Zillah Mould.

Alice was born on Tuesday 1 March 1881 in Birmingham, Warwickshire.

Alice married Sidney Thomas Strong in 1904 in Solihull, Warwickshire.

She had the following children from her marriage to Sidney Thomas Strong:
